Dash for Smiles 2012- Denver, CO


Last year I met Hannah, an adorable one year old with an adventurous spirit and the sweetest personality.   Her session went as most one year sessions go, FAST!  She was on the move and no one was going to get in her way.   She reminded me of my daughter and I instantly loved her.

Behind that cute face is a strong girl born with a cleft lip and palate as well as a disorder called CHARGE.  You can read more about Hannah and her family on her blog here.   I was so touched to be able to meet Hannah and her family and photograph Hannah’s adorable smile, a smile she has worked so hard on.

Hannah is just one story and one of the many families coming together on July 22nd to support the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinics at The Children’s Hospital and Rose Medical Center.

Their Mission: 
Dash for Smiles is dedicated to increasing awareness of cleft lip and palate, as well as raising funds to help families struggling with the financial difficulties of healthcare costs related to having a child affected by cleft.
