Chad and Jamie heard about me through their neighbors who are family friends of ours and contacted me regarding a newborn session.  They were extremely excited that they were going  to welcome a little boy into the world in December  of 2013. Through nervous chat, I could tell that they couldn’t want anything more than this little guy but at the same time knew that mom could back out of the adoption and said “No matter what happens, we would love to have images of him as a newborn”; with that, they stole my heart!     A new baby is such an emotional experience and when I get to photograph families that obtain their children in unconventional ways, there seems to be an extra touch of magic in the room.

I met with their family in Castle Rock and we got started pretty quickly.  Gabriel slept like a champ and seeing all the grandparents doting over their new grandson was such a blast.
