As fall family sessions wind down, I decided to challenge myself with another workshop.   After countless workshops this year and a year of incredible growth,  I thought I would wind down my year with a little relaxation… then I remembered I’m TERRIBLE at relaxing!

One of my all time favorite photography forums is Clickin Moms.  I joined them back in March and was blown away by the talent on that site.  Since March, I’ve been a bit addicted to their workshops.  One workshop everyone talks about is Composition and Creativity.  It’s an advanced course and a demanding workshop and this was the last run of this workshop for a while and I wanted in… but it sold out in one minute.  Seriously.  Later they opened up spots for study alongs and I jumped at the opportunity.

I’m so drawn to  the raw feel of these images and I love that the last two weeks I’ve focused on taking pictures of my family-the loves of my life!
