Top Pinterest Boards-Vote for the winner!

Hi everyone!

A huge thanks for participating in the portrait giveaway.  It was fun to do this giveaway a little differently this year.  I had a BLAST looking through your boards and searched out your name on pinterest for your dream board if the link didn’t post in my comments.

I’m going to refrain from posting other people’s images on here so I will direct you to the top three pinterest boards and have you vote for a winner.

This was hard, your boards were all so beautiful and so fun but I knew I needed to pick three so here they are!  Remember, you get to vote for the winner!

 TOP 3 BOARDS

Board One:  Audra’s Board.   Audra’s board was so colorful and fun. I’ve always wanted to shoot a session at a county fair so she had my heart when she mentioned the fair.  Hot air balloons would also be amazing and colorful.  So many ideas popped into my head when looking at her board and just like I’ll mention in the next board description, Audra’a had color palettes, locations and props (If they want props) which is exactly what I look for in a board.  I would have a blast shooting Audra’s dream session!

Board Two:  Jill’s Board.  Jill had exactly what I was looking for in a board: color palettes, locations, outfits, even props she liked.   When I look at a pinterest board, I look for a unifying theme, colors, and locations the client gravitates toward.  Sometimes I’ll notice a lean toward lifestyle versus posed and vice versa. I am not looking to copy a session but really get a feel for my client’s taste. This board had exactly what I look for in an inspiration board.  Looking at the various elements in Jill’s board, I got a rustic winterland vibe from her board and a fun idea immediately popped into my mind.   For that reason, I would also love to shoot Jill’s dream session.

Board Three:  Picking the third board was HARD but in the end I kept going back to Corrri’s Board.  Corri’s board had many sweet images but at the heart of it, I felt like her board was about boys being boys.  There were a few traditional poses in there but most images in her board evoked a a sense of imagination and big dreams at a young age.   For that reason, Corri’s board would be another amazing session to shoot.

Your turn!  View the boards and comment or voite here telling me what board you think would be the most fun to see come to life!

Deadline: January 10th at noon MST.
