This session is  breathtaking, I just love it!   Irene contacted me regarding a family session specifying they LOVED the water and try to take vacations just to be near water.  Being a landlocked state, I immediately thought of Chatfield right before sunset for our portrait session location.  I really do love that place!  It might not be a traditional beach but it’s OUR beach!   The day we scheduled the session it rained and it hailed.  There was thunder and lighting and dark, gloomy clouds.  It was not the look we wanted for a sunny, beach session so we decided to reschedule and I’m so happy we did.  We end up shooting on such a gorgeous night in the beauty of the sunset!  This family showed up in the cutest  outfits and they were all SO fun.  I’m not sure I’ve seen a family laugh so much and I had such a blast during this portrait session.
