I met Sarah and her family when her son was just a few months old.   We were at the park for a moms club meeting and I was craving a little baby time and just asked if I could hold him!  Shockingly Sarah didn’t think I was too weird (Or if she did, she didn’t tell me!) and got to know more and more of her and her family through a moms’ club in Denver.  This is the second year in a row I shot her family portrait session and I’m soooo happy that I get to be her photographer! Her family is model material, they are super fun and it’s always fun to photograph a family you know!!!

Sarah and I came up with ideas for this session months in advance but pinned down what we were going for a few weeks ahead of time.  She wanted something different than the pretty Colorado Fall look and after chatting a bit, we came up with a candy apple themed session in lower downtown Denver!  We picked jeweled tone colors and shot downtown in front of these amazing gold doors.   Once we finished the session, we took Henry to the candy apple shop and let him pick out an apple!
